Evangelist Iwanna D. Jones is a native of Columbus, GA and a product of
the Muscogee County Public School System. She’s the 1991
salutatorian graduate of Carver High School. Being fueled and propelled
by her passion for literature and writing, she attended the University
of GA pursuing her Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature and is
presently a student at Columbus State University. She was employed
as an educator for 5 years in the Muscogee County School District
specializing in grades 1-3.
Her
ministry has led her to many venues and settings across the country and
she travels extensively to preach the life-changing gospel to all that
will hear it. She has been in ministry for over ten years during which
time she has enjoyed spreading the joy of salvation and encouraging men
and women to obtain the serenity of wholeness in Christ. Her
unique presentation of the gospel has enabled her to minister to many
denominations and organizations and as a result, she is sought out as a
teacher, mentor, motivator, and lecturer. Moreover, her gift has
made room for her, allowing her to minister on the platform with some
renowned speakers. It has been her honor and privilege to serve at
various women’s retreats, youth crusades, and conferences. She
accepted Jesus as her Lord at the age of 11. She has served as the
District Choir Director of the Alabama District Choir of the First Born
Churches of the Living God, Inc. from 1989-1993 and Diocese Choir
Director of the Mid-South Diocese from 1993-1996. She was ordained
as an evangelist in March of 1997. In 2003, she produced their
choir’s first musical project “The Answer”.
She
is the wife of Robert Allen Jones, Senior Pastor of One Way Deliverance
Family Worship Ministries, Inc in Columbus, Georgia and Phenix City,
Alabama since June 27, 1992. Evangelist Jones serves alongside her
husband in ministry as Co-Pastor where she is affectionately known as
“Pastor D”. She cherishes her ministry of marriage and assists her
husband with love and dedication. She administrates the choir and
Levitical department of the church and is also the coordinator and
founder of the S.O.S (Sisters of Salt) Annual Women’s conference of One
Way Deliverance Family Worship Ministries. She has received several
accolades, awards, and achievement certifications; however, her most
noteworthy among them all is her gift of parenting. She is the proud
mother of two children: Amari Gabrielle and Jeremiah Allen.
Evangelist Jones’ messages hinge on holiness and perfection in love.
She has a fervent fire to minister to the lost. She has been
greatly anointed in the area of praise and worship. The prophetic
mantle on her life allows her to be used in the kingdom as a seer.
Her administrative and organizational skills are exceptional. She
is an advent reader and profound scholar. She proclaims that one
of her greatest goals in life is that “the Father be pleased with her as
a Christian, wife, mother, and friend – in that order”. Most
importantly, Evangelist Iwanna Denise Jones, is a woman who fears God
and demonstrates her walk with Christ by living the Word.
